I have to admit, I didn’t see most of this game, I came in during the third quarter, after most of the points had been scored – which – is what got me to stop what I was doing to see what the eff was happening that got the Green Bay Packers to 49 points!?
And for a split second, I thought it was a college game because the score was 42-17. Then the realization that the Packers had scored 6 touchdowns – 2 in each quarter – made me sit down and get up to speed. Aaron Rodgers scored his second touchdown when I came in. Got to see that live. Really becoming an Aaron Rodgers fan.
Not so much for the comparisons between him and Brett Favre though. Why can’t they be great individually? Was a huge Favre fan and am becoming a Rodgers fan, but, will not put them up against each other. Not necessary.
What is necessary is to take note of the Green Bay Packers and how they are dominating the field. Nice to see a defending Superbowl champ move into the next year even stronger. Last couple of champs didn’t defend their titles into the very next season. I guess that suggests they weren’t as cohesive a unit as the Packers appear to be. But, no one can discount the Packers. Looks like they plan to get to the Superbowl again this year. If only I could get the Browns that motivated… 🙁
